Anjoman Max is an Arabic typeface that was developed into an extensive font family for a variety of applications, commissioned by the Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS). Anjoman Max is a low-contrast typeface, with the intended function of maintaining a neutral tone, and not visually imposing on readers.Accessibility was a key feature of Anjoman Max, and a number of steps were taken to enhance the legibility of the design, namely the use of robust strokes, open counters and apertures, and distinct letterform shaping. The proportions were designed with precision, and with an eye to achieving a balanced amount of white and black on the page. Anjoman Max has 4 variable axes which try to empower designers. Those axes are weight, width, slant, and dot variety.
